What counts as a tree emergency?
- A tree or large branch that has fallen onto a house, outbuilding, vehicle, fence or road.
- Hanging or partially detached limbs above gardens, paths, driveways or play areas.
- A tree that has started leaning suddenly, or where the ground around the roots is lifting or cracking.
- Storm damage that has left split stems or heavy broken branches in the canopy.
- Trees brought down or damaged near power lines or public access – keep well clear and call us.
What to do while you wait
Keep people, pets and vehicles away from the tree and anything it is resting on. Don’t attempt to cut, pull or climb it yourself – loaded timber can move without warning. If the tree has hit a power line, contact the electricity network operator first. Then call us and we’ll talk you through the situation and get a team on the way.
